WHAT IS BIG DATA ? CHARACTERISTICS , IMPORTANCE,TYPES AND USES OF BIG DATA.

 what is big data?

big data is the collection of data that is so huge and complex and that is unable to manage by any traditional tools and process it efficiently, it a huge complex collection of data. we all have smart phones but if we ever notice that how much it data generate in the form of texts, calls, messages , e mail, social media applications this is very a huge collection of data that can be generated by our phones which is all processed by the big data

HOW MUCH DATA IS GENERRATED PER MINUTE ON INTERNET:

2.1 MILLION

188MILLION

4.5 MILLION
3.8 MILLION

CHARACTERISTICS OF BIG DATA:

  • velocity

it mean system or user generating terabytes, petabytes, zeta Bytes, exa Bytes of the data. From the internet and this need large storage.

  • VOLUME

streams of data that is generated by the internet from the multiple system for this we need a fast speed.

  • VARIETY

it the data streams from different sources and it may be structured and un structured data in the form of audio, video and the images. for this variety we need presentation. how the data is presented in the form of music, face books , tiktok and mails.

  • VERACITY

it is the noise and abnormality in the data as the content violation. it is related to data mining.

  •  VA LIDITY:

it is the correct and accurate data that we are required its work on the data strategy the data which we needed and remove the abnormality.

  • VOLATILITY:

how long we can store the data and keep it is the data water house .

TYPES OF BIG DATA?

1- HADOOP

  • which is mainly the file distributor data base system
  • a single task is distributed into small easy task and the process become easy and fast this processing is called the parallel processing

2-CASANDRA

  • real time processing of data
  • faster and easy
  • deals with query

3- SPARK:

  • it is a open source unified data
  • deals with Microsoft, macoS, clutters

BIG DATA IMPORTANCE:

  • its helps to recognize new opportunities and help organization to work effectively. it is under the process of a lot of logarithms and technique.
  • multiple business strategies can be applied for more profits in future in any business moves.
  • it is time reduction process
  • cost saving
  • online control reputation
  • it is use to solve advertisers problems and offer marketing insight
  • for example ; Netflix, Amazon
  • analyzer work as driver of innovations and product development.
  • its help to understand the customer purchases behavior
  • it helps company to re develop their products
  • its helps us to use the meaningful pattrens such as

  • what people like?
  • what they are thinking?
  • what they want to buy?
  • what's their hopes and dreams
  • this helps business to improve their products

WHICH METHODES USE FOR DATA MINING?

data mining is done in following steps

  • data cleaning
  • data transformation
  • data evolution
  • data presentation
  • it remove the un necessary data and arrange it according to the needs of people that helps to increase their business . it is a strategy to  increase the business.
  • arrangement of data in such a way that we can get data when we need according to our requirement and save the raw data in other storage
  • For example
  • in our daily life we arrange our cupboard according to ours needs or according to the colour of dresses or according to needs such as we arrange the dresses as the formal, semi formal , pret, Eastern, Western dresses and use them according to need .
  • this the same data mining work and we arrange according our need

 FUNCTIONAL TECHNIQUE OF DATA MINING ;

  • Association:

data which is most commonly used and used more frequently.

  • Classification:

data is classified into different groups according to variety, in order to make the process easy and  fast.

  • Clustering:

same types of data kept at same place this is called clustering.

  • Regression;

analyze different data or they interact with each other or not. and used it for future. but it is not necessary that if 1st data depend on the 2nd then the 2nd also depend on the first data.

  • Predication;

how to use the data according to the trends, people need , what people think and that they want at that time. the thing or the product which is the need of the time.

WHY BIG DATA IS IMPORTANT IN SALES?

  • You can use the strong sales strategies and technique  by using the data analytics.
  • by using the big data you can also find in which time u need to drive the sales and at which time u need to close it, because it work on the needs and demands of the people also work on the trends that is required to increase the sales
  • sale lesson to call that u can take more calls
  • big data will be the part of the sales mystery when u need the best time to sale you can avoid the sale sub stages.
  • its helps to compare the human performance against standard and measures. its act as a benchmark.

BIG DATA USES?

  • It use the information in the social media according to the preference and product perception of their consumers, products companies and retail organization are planning their products.
  • its is used for better and quick services for example of any business and hospitals.
  • it used the information of social network for the marketing, promotion and campaigns and other advertising medium.

TYPES OF BIG DATA?

  • STRUCTURED DATA:

Those type of data which is already present in structured form only 20% of the data is present in structured form. human generates the data in structured form is in the form of name, address data base.

  • UN STRUCTURED DATA:

Those type of data have no clear storage in our database system. 80% of the data present in the form of un structured data. All type of scientific images, satellite images are arranged in the form of unstructured data base . This is not arrange in the form of  row column. Human generated un structured data in the form of images, audio, video and pdf files etc.

  • SEMI-STRUCTURED DATA:

This type of data sometimes look structured and sometimes its look un structured and its is very difficult to recognize , it contain some organizational properties.

The examples of such type of data as XML,JSON documents etc.
